Sad for ex: Taylor Swift fans found secret meaning in her new songs

Singer Taylor Swift is happy in a relationship with athlete Travis Kelsey. And yet her fans are sure: the girl has not forgotten her ex-boyfriend.
On the eve of the release of the new album Taylor Swift took part in a library installation in Los Angeles. One of the exhibits gave out lines from the new songs, which fans believe are about her relationship with Joe Alvin.
“Even statues crumble if they’re made to wait,” reads an open book lying among the dried flowers. Fans were quick to voice their theories online, suggesting that Swift wanted to marry Elvin, but he didn’t feel the same way.
“Oh my god, she was so excited to marry him, she would have done it with paper rings but he was just wasting his time,” “My girl was so excited to be his bride, she’s been waiting six years for that ring,” fans sympathized with Taylor’s broken heart on social media.
